Photography is an art and no photographer is the same. We all have our own styles and subjects that make us come alive. For me, it’s portraiture & lifestyle photography. I am drawn to bright, vivid, colorful photos and the personal connection of storytelling brings me immense joy. I enter each session looking to capture emotion and connection, so personal branding, family, and senior portraits are my specialties. I take the time to get to know my clients and what they really want out of their session. I’m not here for volume - I care about developing a relationship and I walk with each client every step of the way.

Over the years I’ve learned how to ask the right questions to ensure that a client’s vision becomes a reality – each shoot is custom and this is what I believe sets me apart from other photographers. I ensure that every detail meets a client’s goals and that takes more time than a typical 15-minute mini-session. I love to photograph the celebrations of life and always look to bring out what makes each person unique. The photography process isn’t about me, it’s about my client – it’s their chance to showcase who they really are and let their beauty shine.

While I sometimes do traditional posed photography when requested (picture your family all faced forward in height order or your yearly school photos), I find that pictures really come to life in situational posing where clients are placed in their ideal staging and I can move around get the right angles, taking them into account as a whole person. I’m well-versed in lighting and I know which lenses to choose for your stage and vision. It’s these small details that I take pride in – photography isn’t just my job, it’s what I love to do.
